Never let a stranger with a steel pin near your ear again.
A camera on a slim tip, streaming live to your phone. You see exactly what's in there, and exactly where the tip is, before anything moves.
The problem
The kaan saaf karne wala at the market works blind with an unsterilised pin — a genuine route to perforated eardrums and infection. And a cotton bud, the thing most people reach for, mostly pushes wax deeper against the drum.
The solution
SHRAVAN pairs a slim camera-tipped wand with your phone. You watch a live feed on screen while a soft silicone scoop does the work — so you're guiding by sight, not by feel. It also doubles as a way to actually look at a child's ear before deciding whether a doctor visit is needed.
What makes it usable
-
Camera-tipped wand — slim enough for an adult ear canal.
-
Built-in tip lighting — the canal is dark; without light the feed is useless.
-
Live phone streaming — to iOS and Android, no cable tugging at your ear.
-
Record and save — capture before/after, or a clip to show a doctor.
-
Silicone scoop tips — soft, replaceable, and far safer than a metal pick.
How to use — read this part properly
- Charge the wand and install the companion app.
- Fit a fresh silicone tip.
-
Look before you move. Insert only until you can see clearly, and no further than the outer third of the canal.
- Gently draw wax outward. Never push inward. If you can see the eardrum, you are already too deep — back out.
- Have someone else operate it if you can. It is considerably easier than doing your own.
- Stop at once if there is any pain.

Frequently asked
Is this safe?
Safer than a blind metal pick, because you can see what you're doing — but the ear canal is delicate and the eardrum is easy to damage. Stay in the outer third, go slowly, stop if it hurts.
Who should not use it?
Do not use if you have ear pain, discharge, bleeding, sudden hearing loss, a perforated eardrum, grommets/tubes, or a recent ear surgery. Do not use on infants. In any of those cases, see a doctor — this is a camera and a grooming tool, not a medical device, and it cannot diagnose or treat an ear condition.
My ear is fully blocked. Will this clear it?
Possibly not, and forcing it makes things worse. Impacted wax against the drum needs professional irrigation. Use this for routine maintenance, not for an emergency blockage.
Can I use it on my kids?
With great care, on older children, and only in the outer canal. Children move suddenly. Many parents use it just to look, then decide about a doctor.
