Move a double bed across the room. On your own.
Lever under one corner, slide a roller wheel beneath it, repeat on the other three. Then push. The furniture rolls.
The problem
Rented flats change often. Furniture needs moving for deep cleaning, for Diwali rearranging, for the plumber who needs to get behind the wardrobe. And the standard method — two people dragging it — gouges the floor, strains backs, and often isn't possible because there's only one person at home.
The solution
BALWAAN is a steel lifting lever plus four wheeled sliders. The lever gives you the mechanical advantage to raise one corner a few centimetres at a time; the sliders take the weight and roll. It converts a two-person drag into a one-person push, and keeps the load off the floor surface entirely.
What it's genuinely good for
-
Lifting lever — steel shaft with a non-slip grip; you lift with leverage rather than your lower back.
-
Four roller sliders — multi-directional wheels, so you can steer rather than just shove.
-
Floor-safe pads — designed to protect tile, marble, wood and vinyl from scoring.
-
Handles heavy items — beds, wardrobes, fridges, sofas, washing machines.
-
Packs away small — a kit you keep in a cupboard, not a tool you rent.

How to use — safety first, this one matters
- Empty the furniture. A loaded wardrobe is a different problem entirely, and a far more dangerous one.
- Slide the lever tip under one corner and press down on the handle to raise it a few centimetres.
- Slip a roller slider underneath, centred beneath the leg or corner.
- Lower it gently onto the slider. Repeat for all four corners.
- Push at waist height, slowly. Never pull it toward yourself.
- Reverse the process to lower it.
Please read: this kit reduces effort, it does not eliminate risk. Do not use it on stairs, on uneven or broken flooring, or with tall items that could topple. Keep children and pets out of the room. If an item is genuinely beyond what one person should move, get a second pair of hands — a ₹799 tool is not worth a back injury.

Frequently asked
How much weight can it take?
Typical household furniture — beds, wardrobes, fridges, sofas. Check the weight rating on the pack against your specific item, and don't guess with anything unusually heavy.
Will it work on carpet?
Poorly. The wheels need a hard surface to roll on. Thin rugs are borderline; thick carpet is a no.
Will it scratch my marble?
The pads are designed to prevent that, but grit trapped underneath will scratch anything. Sweep the path before you move.
Can one person really do it?
For most flat-floor moves, yes. For very tall or top-heavy items, use two people regardless of what the tool allows.
Does it work on a fridge?
Yes, and it's one of the most common uses — mainly to clean behind it.
